Wombs Carry the Family Heirlooms

Those heirlooms include gifts, genius, brilliance, love, service, the inner priestess, the inner goddess, the ability to birth children and ideas.

The ability to create and to communicate – with plants, animals, stars, spirits, the ancestors themselves. Psychic abilities, spiritual powers, intuition, healing, energy.

The capacity to carry pain and suffering. To transmute pain and suffering into pleasure and ease and medicine and nourishment.

Tune in to your gifts.

This is the challenge.

Because these gifts come in paired with wounds, sometimes BURIED under wounds, we often don’t see them. Or we don’t value them.

Our very genius may feel like a liability, a vulnerability that renders us subject to rejection, abandonment, shunning, punishment, ridicule.

Our gifts feel dangerous at some point in our growth as a human being.

This too we learned from our ancestors, and we carry this talent for hiding and repression in our wombs.

Our gifts and genius remains hidden and yet the magic and power of the womb is natural.

Our parents, our lovers, the very culture we live in will use these talents and gifts, unconsciously. They will use them and attempt to control them – and us – because of their needs, fears, hungers, and pain.

And they will never tell us what is going on because they don’t really know.

They use our power to bring new humans into life, and then claim possession of these children.

They use our power to bring ideas, blueprints, and wisdom into consciousness and claim credit for it.

They use our powers of transmutation of pain into healing and suffering into nourishment because they are hurting, and they don’t know why.

They penetrate us with their agony, their loneliness, their disconnection from self, and then blame the womb, the woman, for their suffering.

And because all of this is LOVE, rooted in love that is perverted by ignorance, and inequity, and power dynamics, we allow it. We embrace it. We call this dysfunction love. We give of ourselves in love, to the point of sacrifice.

All the old stories and myths tell this tale.

And our bodies and souls tell this tale.

This tale is written in the earth, the decimation of forests, species, the fouling of air and water, genocide and war and famine.

How it plays out in our individual life is armoring, numbing, sickness.

Instead of feeling and knowing within wombs the conduit of cosmic and divine love, power, and light drawn down, and bearing fruit for life, we armor ourselves against this pain that is both inherited and deposited in us.

Instead of bringing forth healing, nourishment, and magic in LOVE, we learn to believe we are blackness, shame, sludge, unclean, foul, unworthy.

So many of us have awakened to the lie, and awakened to the truth, and have started the journey to reclaim our womb medicine, womb power, womb wisdom.

We are sifting through the ashes and sludge.

We are sorting through what is ours to handle, and what has been passed on from ancestors or imposed by lovers, religions, and governments.

We are remembering our magic, and our individual unique and precious gifts, unearthing the gold and the jewels from the mountains of pain.

We are remembering how to work with our medicine, and bring our brilliance into the consciousness of the collective. We are shining the mirror and holding it up.

We are embracing and initiating our inner witch, our inner priestess, our inner goddess, to be the hands, feet, voice, mind, and heart of Divine Feminine and LOVE on Earth.

We are partaking of LOVE ourselves, first, and then feeding our Sisters, our Brothers, and this Earth our home.

Look at the family heirlooms and see what is valuable and worth keeping and passing on. You’ll travel lighter, and go farther, with pleasure and ease, and the company of wise companions.

You will fulfill your purpose as Embodied Divine Love.

We are not meant to do this alone.
